Kerry and Chieftain Irish Low and High Whistles

I won't bore you with the history, but a lot of people who know me ask why I often use the login name "lowwhister" on message boards. Well of course, when your name is Smith, you don't often get the chance to use your real name and on busy boards, you have to be creative. As the low whistle is one of my favourite instruments to play and the name has never yet been taken, it's just stuck. Anyway, I digress. Last week I had the great pleasure of playing a Chieftain low and it really blew me away. Gorgeous tone and fairly easy on the lungs too. I just found out that it was made down the road from me in Watford - so to support a local business I bought one! Can't wait for it to arrive and when it does, I hope it plays as well as the other one!
