Eric Meyer’s CSS Sculptor™

An interesting new add-in for Expression Web is now available to try for free from our friends at WebAssist. Eric Meyer’s CSS Sculptor takes a huge slab out of the CSS learning curve to provide a collection of very useable and customizable CSS page layouts - all Web standards compliant of course! Eric also talks extensively about this on his site here and here. WebAssist are currently working to make it compliant with the newly announced Expression Web 2.

Due to bugs in the Dreamweaver version 1, I was never able to get it to run successfully on my system. The version I had would crash after I had spent considerable time tweaking the look. Pretty frustrating. Now I hear there is a version 2.0 version. I'd be tempted to try it, but there is no upgrade pricing. After being burned once, I'm reluctant to fork out full retail pricing again for a product I already paid for.

Are you talking about Expression Web, or the addin? If you're referring to Expression Web, there is certainly an upgrade price of $99. If you mean the addin, then you will need to contact WebAssist for details.
